You are all invited to the first picnic and tea party in fairyland.. as you can see the table is set and waiting for us.  As sorts of interesting creatures have been invited and I think we will have a great time.  Those naughty fairies are sure to come and share a trick or two with us and the elves and nymphs have will certainly make an appearance.  They have such a sweet tooth and will be expecting cupcakes I'm sure.
The witches from the four kingdoms have RSVP'd via their messengers the crows, so a spell or two or three are guaranteed to add that special something to the celebration.

What are we celebrating you ask...well life of course.  It's the gift we take for granted sometimes and as good a reason as any to make a party.  Just of hint of what is to come.  After a few cups of mead to loosen your tongues and allow you to speak freely, you will be asked to share what you would like to celebrate.  Can be anything from a new pair of shoes to meeting the love of your lift, to loosing a few pounds.  The reasons are endless and all valid. So join me dearies and bring your smiling beautiful selves.

  1. Am I the first to arrive?? Well...I've never, ever been one to be fashionably late. I'll just sit over here and wait..and..while I am waiting consider what to share. Weight...yes..I could lose a few ounces...*snicker*.. but I would have to think carefully and maybe the company of others sharing would bring something to mind. I seldom keep my own secrets but do well with others. Something will come to me I'm sure. So..I'll just sit here quietly... and wait. Okay? So....how have you been?? :) *taps toe and gazes around*

  2. Yes Mona you are the first to arrive, glad you got the invitation. Sometimes sharing is hard, but I am sure you have so many things to say...Well I am right there with you on the weight issue. Its just not as easy to lose as it used to be...everything seems to have slowed down. Now I understand the saying "the mind is willing but the body is...something, We will just have to keep doing our best and hang out with the free spirited people, they do keep you young. Most of my friends are younger that I am. They refer to me as Miss Daisy and I make them drive me whenever I can.. Hopefully other will arrive soon and we can get this party started.
I just recently started blogging and I haven't got it all figured out yet...my goal is to be able make mine look as nice as yours and the others I have visited.

  3. I got here via the ravens... they guided me all the way here... oh oh but I'll better get back and get the proper attire for such fancy festivity… I’ll wear my new fairy shoes and my pretty necklace, and oh shall I bring my teacups? The ones left on my magical tree by the fairies? I’d better advertise this get-together on my blog… I’ll better get ready cause I don’t want to miss the fun by arriving late…. A new post coming up soon… ;)

Glad you’re doing this my friend…

I adore Tea Parties yet I've never been to one can you believe that?!?! I can't!
I am thinking of having my first ever tea party myself, with the most magical creature I ever met in my entire life still to this day, and she said she would come....maybe it will happen this summer.
OH OH! Mead!! My very very favorite of all time drinks! oh mi lord! does that one go straight up to the head instead of down like all other drinks and I love it! I was known as the''Mead Lady'' for a short time amongst the Medieval folks here in the south LOL

aha....all those huge black crows making a racket this afternoon so bad I had to get my camera to take pics of them, maybe they were yelling at me for being late here. oh dear, can we do this again really really soon??

  5. Sorry I have not figured all the tricks out yet. where do I find this feature.
The mead lady, you must have a strong constitution. I have mead once or twice and it was very good but too put it bluntly, it kicked my butt. That was many moons ago. What do you mean by Medieval folk, like the renaissance fair? I love the fair. It happens here in San Diego in April and Oct. So fun. I have the wench clothes to wear for it and I love to dress up.
We will have another party soon....I think something other than a tea party....have to change it up every once in a while so we don't get bored.
Hope the weekend gets here soon
